George Priolo, PGA Member

GM of Golf Operations                                                              
DOB: June 11, 1964 


George has been a PGA member since 1988. He began his golf career in 1985 as an assistant golf professional at Ross Rogers Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas. In January 1992 George became the head golf professional at Comanche Trail Golf Courses, consisting of the Arrowhead courses and Tomahawk courses here in Amarillo.


George sat on the Northern Texas PGA Section Junior Golf Committee. He has also held every office of the West Texas Chapter including president, 98-99. He was also elected to the Northern Texas PGA Board of Directors in 1998. He was honored with the Northern Texas Section PGA Merchandiser of the year for Public Course in 1993 and 2003. George was also named West Texas Chapter PGA Professional of the year in 1998 and West Texas Chapter Junior Golf Leader in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997. He was also named West Texas Chapter Merchandiser Public in 1993, 2000 and 2002. In 2000, George was awarded the West Texas Chapter PGA Horton Smith Award (annually give to the professional that works in educating his fellow golf professionals).

James Stow

Assistant GM of Golf Operations

DOB: September 10, 1982


James began his golf course maintenance career at the age of 13 at Oldham County Club and then as a seasonal worker at John Pitman in Hereford while in high school. He knew then that a Golf Course Superintendent was his career choice due to a love for the game and the reward of participating in the maintenance and detail of a golf course operation. Out of high school James went to Arizona and was hired as a spray tech /foreman at a 36 hole facility Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club. During his time there he participated in preparing for Senior Tour major and the Senior Slam. While he was in Arizona he began his education in Professional Golf Turf Management from Rutgers University. James has been a golf course Superintendent ever since with most of his stint being in the Phoenix, Az. During his career as a Superintendent he has provided high-quality playing surfaces to a wide spectrum of golf enthusiasts including daily fee guests as well as ultra high-end private memberships. James has been married to his high school sweetheart (Tessa) since 2001. They have 2 beautiful children Taytum (daughter) and Kyler (son). He has been with the City of Amarillo @ Ross Rogers since February of 2011.
